Who Has Been Visiting Our Blog?
I know, if you're like me, you have your favorite blogs that you check on each week to see if there are some new postings. I hope we are one of those blogs.
La Maison Rustique loves to posts pictures of our sales and the great friends we meet but that's only once a month unless something so wonderful like getting written up in a magazine comes along. (still giddie :)
Sooooo, I decided I would return the favor and visit some of our visitors and post what I found. It's going to be fun, you might want to visit them too. So get some tea, a little cookie and snuggle next to your computer (snuggle computer? hmmmmmm) and let's take a trip.
First up, Jennifer's Junky Life . Jennifer has just updated her blog and it's 59 degrees and a sunny day, California? Well, it also says "We have a winter storm watch in effect until Sunday evening! Potential snowfall accumulations of six inches or greater is expected, along with wind speeds of up to 25 miles per hour." Nope, not California... She's in Northern Minnesota. Jennifer writes in her blog about what sounds like an Embroidering obsession. (we all have one don't we?)...she started with a cute embroidered hankie for a wedding and has become an embroidering machine turning out cute hankies and tea towels. Take a look they are sooo cute.
We're moving on to Prairie Home done beautifully by Sherry. She has what she calls "Sassy Tees". I call them "Gotta Have" tees. They are so cute "Vintage Chic", "Junk Prom Queen", "Vintage Couture", and "Rebel Road Sista". Now don't those names conjure up what we all love JUNK, VINTAGE, OH LA LA, DIFFERENT and Loving it! Also, when you stop in to check out Sherry's blog, check out her junque jewels....because rust is IN haven't you heard.
Hey they even have products to make things rust faster or duplicate the look of rust. Need some rust fast, check out this website. This guy is funny but if you decide to try it, be CAREFUL. If you have a way to rust something, let us know.
Whoa....I'm getting off course in my travels, let's visit one more blog today!
Now we're visiting Sweet Victoria Antiques. Victoria owned a Gifts & Antiques Shop in Seattle, WA for six years and is in the mist of renovating a barn to have barn sales just like La Maison Rustique. You go girl! It's lots of hard work but so rewarding just in all the new people you meet and the encouragement you receive.
Oh dear, my tea is cold and my cookie is gone so I'm going to come back to reality and continue my trip another day. Glad you could visit and hope you enjoyed our little trip. More to come.
